Angela Hagenbach -

This versatile Kansas City native sings everything from swinging,

Hilton Ruiz – Piano, Percussion, Vocals
One of the finest pianists in Afro-Cuban jazz, Hilton
Ruiz is also an expert bop player. A child prodigy who appeared at
Carnegie Recital Hall when he was eight, Ruiz gigged with Latin bands as a
teenager and gained early experience playing with Joe Newman, Frank
Foster, and Freddie Hubbard. Notable later colaborations
include such greats as Tito Puente, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, George
Coleman, Ray Barretto etc.

Avery Sharpe –
Bass Sharpe, 46, has had a distinguished
career as a player, composer, arranger, and group leader. Accomplished on
both acoustic and electric bass, he has performed and recorded with many
famed jazz greats including McCoy Tyner, Sam
Rivers and Clark Terry. Sharpe's credits also
include sideman stints with many other jazz greats, from Dizzy Gillespie
to Pat Metheny, as well as leading his own groups.

Mark Colenburg –
Drums Early in life, Mark became intensely
involved in percussion through his church and looked to the older
musicians for guidance. Mark enrolled at the New School in New York City
where he now studies and performs with some of the greatest jazz musicians
of today, like Michael Carvin, Joe Chambers, and Buster Williams. In
addition to performing with Chico Freeman and The Abram Wilson Sextet,
Mark has performed with hip-hop and R&B stars such as Common, Macy Gray,
Amel Larriux, and Q-tip.

Vocals Playing with
such notable players as
Joe Zawinul and Carlos Santana, among
others, Pibo has earned a name for himself as one of percussion's greatest
players.
