For this final evening, Chico Freeman and Antonio Faraò pay tribute to one of their greatest inspirations, John Coltrane, by revisiting his classics and also performing some of their own compositions. Freeman embodies the innovative spirit of jazz, exploring new paths while honoring traditions. His career has led him to play alongside giants such as Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Dizzy Gillespie and Charles Mingus, to name a few. The rhythm section will be provided by two exceptional musicians: Heiri Känzig, accompanist of Daniel Humair, Bobby McFerrin and the Vienna Art Orchestra, and Paolo Pellegatti… A unique concert where Coltrane’s legacy blends with the voices of these two great masters.
